Rambling Garden by immortaldesigns Rambling Garden by immortaldesigns
I always love making freeform flower pieces. I went for an off center design on this one, just trying something new. Having too much fun making hammered dangles I tell ya!

Du-Kit Polymerclay, Aluminium Wire, Reeves varnish

Thanks, they're really easy to make. I use cake decorating techniques for all my flowers. Polymer clay is a lot easier to use than sugar paste! :)

Unnerving but no damage. O_O; I feel exceedingly lucky to live in a first-world city with stringent building standards - right after we had our big 6.5 the other week, which, uh, broke a few shop windows, we heard China had just had a similar 6.5 that flattened a lot of buildings and correspondingly killed a lot of people. :(

Yeah, I've spent plenty of time at work just refreshing GeoNet while I wait for the shelves to stop wobbling. o.o; It's comforting somehow.

Thank you so much!
I'm working on the etsy shop(just need a fine day for taking good photos), up till now I've just done private trans so it'll be nice having a 'shop'. This necklace is $250NZD (197USD). Custom work is always available. Just send me a note if you'd like any more info. :)

Facinating.

My chainmail tends more towards armor and feminine garments, but this certainly sparks some ideas.

Thanks muchly!
I like making armor and clothing but I love the intercate details of jewellery and just how much faster it is to finish a piece!

I love the off-centered design to it; it makes it looks like how wild and crazy roses and vines can get on an arbor or on lattice work! The thickness of the wire almost makes it look like a scarf too?Haha!

Looks good and interesting, almost too busy though? Plus, I dunno if it  was meant to but it draws the eyes to the cleavage very well

lol Cheers. It wasn't meant to draw your eye that far down but what the hell!
I'm wondering if it wouldn't look so busy if i'd used finer gauge wires. I was going for a more organic look but it did get away on me a bit

I dunno, and I dunno, depends if you wanna draw eyes down, maybe someone who wants it wants it for that reason? As for the finer gauge? I guess we'll never know
