This was a colab piece that I did with my other half.

Something we've both been talking bout for awhile and finally sat down last night and made two of them!

Media: 14 Gauge Galv wire in an ID of 10mm, 16 Gauge in an ID of 7mm and 3.5mm.
Weave: Captive Inverted Round, Jap 10-4.
Time: 5+ hours.
Size: 37.5cm (15") long.
Legal: Design Šopyright Linda and Oliver Lee. Do not copy!

Status: For sale @ $50NZD (+S/H)

I'll see if I can make a smaller one out of a smaller gauge.
I dunno how long it'd last tho, even the big ones pull some of the rings apart if you swing it around to much!

Thanks, I love this weave so much, very quick and easy!
Nope it's not a whip, a mace is a wepon.. a long "stick" with a spikey ball on one end, Pretty nasty really!
We're already half way through finishing a flail which in a handle with 3 chains with a ball on each. And then I get to start on my morning star which is a lot like the mace but the chain will be stiff like a long handle.

If you couldn't tell we're working on a little set of wepons made from maille.

hahaha thats well made, i like it, Chainmail dave an i used to make cat of 9 tails but they werent nearly as cool as this (to be honest mine REALLY sucked). Perhaps you have inspired me to make somthing new, ill give you credit for inspiration if you dont mind me doing my own take on your design?
